Addison Hibbard (1887-1945) was an English professor, 1918-1930, and dean, 1926-1930, at the University of North Carolina. Hibbard was the son of Daniel O. and Ida Brightman Hibbard. He was born in Racine, Wis., and received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Wisconsin.
